Tonight I’ve decided that this is it! I’ve added my last words, I’ve deleted some last phrases, that just weren’t relevant enough, and tomorrow I will send my final draft to my editor who will make it perfect for you to read. What a feeling of excitement, happiness, being relieved but also a bit akward…
During the last 6 months I was working every spare minute on the book. When I was training, I thought about how I could use the questions of my students in the book. When I was coaching I was wondering if the session could serve as an example in the book. When I was speaking before an audience I was wondering how you would feel if you were on that stage… and how I could use it for the book.
So this is it. I’m giving it to somebody else and probably won’t sleep until I read her remarks. What a journey, what a challenge, what a wonderful experience this has already been so far.
Thank you for bearing with me and challenging me every step on my path. I look forward to the day I can present you ‘a Speech of Cake’ a book about the pleasure of public sPEAKing π
Best regards,
Peggy, the author of ‘a Speech of Cake’ π
